Camera-ready submission of accepted papers

Congratulations if you have had a paper accepted to ITiCSE 2018. Here are the generic instructions to guide you towards your camera-ready submission.

The ACM SIG formatting and preparation instructions for your submission to be included in the proceedings are available at https://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template . Although these templates were introduced in 2016, many submissions for review were prepared using the old templates: if this is the case with your submission, please be sure to use the new template for your camera-ready version. If you use Microsoft Word, please be prepared for a massive challenge in converting the paper to the new template. Some authors in other conferences have even decided that it is easier to (re)learn LaTeX and use the LaTeX template than to fight with the Word template.

Please follow the specific information for your submission type, regarding the templates, page limits, and formatting guidelines. Please familiarize yourself with the formatting and review in general for the helpful formatting hints included.

The hard submission deadline is 4 April 2018 for papers, and 24 April 2018 for posters, working groups, panels, and tips, techniques, and courseware. No extensions will be given. Kindly attend to your submission early if you have travel planned near the submission deadline. Papers and abstracts not submitted on time will not appear in the proceedings.

Your camera-ready paper will be submitted through Conference Publishing Consulting. Soon after your paper is accepted, they will send you an email with author instructions regarding the camera-ready submission. You should also take the time to read their ITiCSE-specific instructions at https://www.conference-publishing.com/Instructions.php?Event=ITICSE18 .

The email from CPC will include a link to 'submit a publishing-rights agreement and the camera-ready version of your paper'. You should first access this link as soon as you receive the email, and click on the button marked 'Submit publishing rights'. This leads to the generation of the bibstrip information that must be included in your camera-ready paper. You will access the same link again later when you are ready to submit your camera-ready paper.

Please note that publication of your paper is contingent on at least one author registering and attending to present the paper. We look forward to your participation at ITiCSE 2018 in Larnaca this July!
